For those who have been living under a giant rock, Cerebral Bore brings a disgusting and dare I say unique style of energy packed death metal to the table. Imagine a Gorerotted, Cattle Decapitation and Cryptopsy sandwich with loads of gory groove smeared on top. I swear, my ipod has got to be tired of playing 'Entombed In Butchered Bodies' by now. Necrocomicon performs blistering covers of classic cheeseball rock songs from the 80's, rad. Now kids, go tell your parents or guardian about this album, after all it could be a bonding experience for you guys. In all seriousness though, these 2 dudes truly kill it, mountains of double bass, razor sharp guitars, chilling black metal style vocals, all fast paced with a raw and grimy production. Support them if you can. And that goes for all the great bands on here, if you haven't bought at least 1 new cd this month, get on that!

This is deathcore before deathcore even had a fuckin name kids. Groovy breakdowns, growling vocals, driving bass tones and death metal riffs of the highest caliber, all executed while maintaing a very hardcore vibe and stage presence. These kids used to fuckin shred shows dude. You may know them now as the band Digested Flesh. They've taken on a much more Brutal Death Metal style with recent recordings. Still good, but not the groundbreaking pioneer sound that was Catorsion.

Nader Sadek is a thick as fuck death metal supergroup featuring Flo Mounier (Cryptopsy), Steve Tucker (ex-Morbid Angel) and Blasphemer (ex-Mayhem). And here we have Arson, one of my favorite metalcore acts from the day era of the NJ scene. Im not sure which is worse, the fact that they never really climbed the ranks of metalcore glory or the fact that they haven't recorded anything since 2002's 'Lacerate the Sky'. Either way, this is a melodic storm of an EP that will not disappoint.
